Kusadasi, Turkey

Beautiful library in Ancient Ephesus!
I loved Turkey. I wonder why all of these cats came near us? It couldn't be because I fed them :)
Turkey's wonderful beaches
I put my foot in the Aegean Sea
Isn't Turkey great? Definitely an unexpected surprise!
Temple of Artemis- one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World Only one column standing, but it's huge.
I found a turtle! I want one!
The Church of St. John. This was where he was buried, until recently when his body was transported back to Rome.
Entering the Church of St. John
The Stadium of Ephesus
Me and Jesten kissing in Ephesus
yeah. I have noticed I like to take a lot of pictures of me as a statue?
city walls of ancient Ephesus
The Celsus library in Ephesus
Hey, it's a pretty building.
Me and Jesten using the Ancient Public Latrine :)
Maybe this stems from my love of cemeteries, but I love headless creepy statues.
I should also point out that... you will always know when I am the photographer, because A. the picture includes a doorway or arch. B. It's a picture of a headless statue, or C. the picture includes an animal.
Hmmm another arch, who knew? This was in the Old theatre in Ephesus
This was a big statue of Mary on the way to her house. That sounds weird. LOL
The Christian version of the Wailing Wall at Mary's house
I'm blessed :)
This is Mary's house. After Jesus was crucified, she went to Turkey to seek refuge, and this was her house. A few hundred years ago, the Catholics built this building to commemorate her, but the original house is inside. Very cool.
Beautiful day in Turkey
The Kusadasi Port
columns :) Doric or Stoic. I can't remember which is which. Too lazy to google it.
Who doesn't eat shark off the ground?
The whole famdamily
Hmmm. Who took this picture? The picture on the Arch is Medusa :)
Ephesus is probably my favorite ancient city I visited. And we visited a LOT of ancient cities this trip. Instead of just a building here or there like most ancient cities, the majority of the city is still in tact, with the original marble floors! I loved loved loved Ephesus! There was even an ancient inscription of where to find the brothel.
Pretty pretty princess.
Ahhhh another country down. I think only a few to go. Stay tuned
