My aunt loves that stuff. She has brought it to our place on Thanksgiving a few times, if I am not mistaken. I think it is British? OK, now that I am thinking of it, I believe it is "spotted dick" that my aunt usually brings (a quick google search shows that the two are related). Either way, they both sound like terrible venereal diseases.
