I have soooo muchhhhhhh stuff to blog about. And soooooo many pictures to get off my camera. (like 400)

Life in a nutshell.

1. Went to Burningman. Fun. Celebrated my 1 year anniversary. FUN
2. Went to Lake Powell for Powellapalooza. Fun.
3. Halloween. Fun. (3 costumes later, haunted house-going, and parties every weekend in October)
4. Moved into a beautiful, picturesque, amazing, AWESOME house up the top of Emigration Canyon. Fun. Except the wild, terretorial moose friend who lives in my yard. He kind of scares me.
5. Adopted a little black kitten from the shelter and named him Poe. Love times infinity.
6. I went horseback riding with my parents for the first time in 10 years. Accomplished! I miss it and my parents are still the best parents in the world.
7. Went to a million shows. Fun.
8. Made amends. Necessary.
9. Read books and have survived without a TV for 2 years. Accomplished. (and the internet for 4 months, with the exception of interwebbing at my work)
10. Have been going on a ton of outdoor adventures. Happy.

There will be pictures I promise. For now, be happy with my update dammit!

So. As most of you know, or should know, I make feather earrings.

Anyway. I purchase most of my feathers on eBay. Since the feather hair extension craze, these feathers are damn near impossible to get at my local store which is where I used to purchase them :/ On to the moral of the story....

READ THE ENTIRE EBAY LISTING PEOPLE. I thought I was bidding on 12 beautiful feathers, and I got ONE feather. ONEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE feather. And not only did I pay $7.00 for ONE feather, I also paid $4.00 for them to ship me ONE feather.

That was one expensive feather. And one expensive lesson learned.

Things that cost me $11.00 that would have been substantially more cooler:
1. A chai-cicle from Beans and Brews with a jalepeno bagel.
2. Endless supply of Otter Pops
3. I could have gone to the Liberty Park pool 5 times.
4. I could have bought 2 giant kombuchas from Whole Foods.

There's an aura of childlike innocence around Lunar Ariens, even when they're getting their way again, that can be charming indeed!

We put a new meaning to "school house rock" Ever year, a bunch of us friendlies rent out a school house and have a giant party sleepover in Lava Hot Springs. Some of the highlights include:

1. The giant gym. Basketball, hula-hooping, frisbee and good times were had

6. Sleepover with friends, like I had in 8th grade, only wilder.

1. Goggles and dust masks were a necessity. Dust storms were prevalent and much needed.

So I've had my cat for years now. Five-ish years now? He has suddenly felt the need to pee on the floor, in my shoes, or other places that are not his litterbox. Normally, this only occurs when his litter box is full. But lately, it's been increasing in its frequency, and his litter box is certainly not too dirty.

I need ideas here to get this stop, so I'm reaching out to you blogging community. WHY is this happening and what can I do to get to stop? I've changed the litter type 3 times now. So it's not the type of litter. And he's sneaky and only does it when we're gone or not watching, so I can't catch him in the act.

On Wednesday, I got a call from Anthony telling me that he had been involved in a roll over accident and was in the hospital. Let me tell you, pray that you never have to get that phone call. Luckily, Anthony survived unscathed. It is a friggin miracle. He hurt his ribs, has a bump on his head, and is SORE, but the dude walked away from THIS. I'm 99% sure at this point he's either immortal or subhuman.

A Uhaul's tire blew out and ran into his car, running him off the road. That caused his car to roll 3-4 times. Dude is seriously lucky to be alive, let alone walking around. The ER doctor even told him. "I've only seen ONE other person in my whole career as a doctor walk away from a roll over accident that was this bad."

Wear your seat belt kids.

The last time I listened to Backstreet Boys was over a decade ago. And I went to their concert a decade ago. And I went to their reunion tour on June 23rd too. Why, I cannot be sure. But Three things surprised me.

1. I could still remember the lyrics. (I know, I shouldn't admit this)

2. They could still fill a stadium.

3. The majority of their fans were of legal age. This time around.

Ok, so I know what my iPod's favorite band is.. The Beatles. And so is mine, so we make a good pair. But how do I know this you ask? I know this because it ONLY plays the Beatles. I can put it on shuffles and it shuffles its way past all of the other music I have on there and only plays the Beatles. I try and play another band, it skips on past the other music and goes directly to the Beatles. And you see, although I have extreme love for the Beatles, I do wish it would play some of my other music. My iPod is a discriminator!

After all of these posts that actually have pretty pictures and are relevant, I decided to make a post like I did back in the olden days with my crazy, random thoughts.

Harbin Hot Springs, California adventure hike.

While we were at Harbin Hot Springs, we decided to go on a hike. It was 6 hours long, and we had only slept a few hours the night before. (we had to leave after I got off work, so we got there around 5:30 AM) Anthony looks really confused in this picture. haha.

We had to ninja around TONS of poison oak. This time I'm not exaggerating either... It was EVERYWHERE. I'm really surprised neither of us suffered its wrath. Especially since I was wearing a swimsuit top and Anthony was topless. (sick-o) haha

Impromptu California Adventure

Last weekend, the lover and I went on an impromptu trip to California to retrieve some of his items from storage. It was a mega-ulta-super quick trip but it was one of the best weekends I've had in a long time. We went to Northern Cali to the healing waters of Harbin Hot Springs and it was A.M.A.Z.I.N.G. It's such a quaint little camping place/resort. We camped up there and it was epic. If you haven't heard of Harbin Hot Springs, I'll describe it as the hippie/resort/more private equivalent of Lava Hot Springs. Only you're in a forest, and there are a lot of naked people. These were the pictures from the drive there and the drive back. Most of them are of the sky, because it's my favorite, and what else are you going to do for 12 hours in the car..

On our way home we saw hot air balloons! If you can't tell, I am enjoying the photoshop feature in my new MAC laptop :D

While we were about to embark on our hike, we saw a few good omens... We saw this amazing oil in the clouds that made this crazy entity (below), a hawk, and then we saw a mini rainbow in the clouds. (next three pictures)

Torey's Graduation

My cousin Torey graduated from high school. This freaks me out for two reasons: 1. That means I graduated high school 5 years ago 2. I remember spoon-feeding her when she was a baby. Time seriously flies. Congrats my beautiful twin!

On Friday, before Anthony played there was one of THE most epic sunsets I've ever seen. Such a beautiful background.

This was about a half hour before Anthony went on. He went on right at sunset and it was pretty much epic.

Friday was the Pajama Jam featuring Benny Benassi, and Anthony played before him. The event was sold out at 8,500 tickets. So it was quite the amazing experience to watch the lover spread his gift of music to so many people. And it was fun as hell. Plus dating a rockstar has its perks (see above picture) Yeah, I got VIP and didn't have to use the public public restrooms!

Yes, I really do sit home on Friday nights and take pictures of my cat and I. Do not judge me. Honestly though, the lover is in NYC, my friends live too far away for me to drive (especially in the rain and when I'm still recovering) and I have a new computer. Let's see.

I moved out of the bachelor pad. Well, mostly. I still have some stuff there I need to get. I'm back in Sugarhood. I can't seem to escape Sugarhood I see, it feels like I'm destined to be there forever at this point.

I got to exercise some visitation with son. (Dexter the dog) which makes me incredibly happy. I miss my baby D. I'm very thankful for that.

I am STILL sick. I have an upper respitory infection and a sinus infection, and it's been brutal. I've had it 3 times in the past month and although missing work is nice, I really just want to be rid of it. I've been on antibiotics since Sunday and I still am not feeling great. Yeah, this sickness has totally rocked me. And I keep infecting the once impermeable lover. (he boasts about never getting sick..and now he's dating germy mcgermy) Sorry about that.

I cracked my iPhone screen. Again. I got it fixed and two days later managed to crack it AGAIN. This displeases me immensely.

I'm actually pretty damn happy. I'm in a good place with love, friendships, stability, myself and spiritually. I've done pretty well at keeping to my "Andrea Corrective Action Plan." Except for the fact I couldn't say no to sweets if my life depended on it. Damn you donuts. Damn you!

3. Two boys spontaneously started removing articles of clothing and "got freaky?" on the dance floor. I felt like I should have given them a dollar.
4. 100% awesome.
5. They have karaoke.

8. Best of all. You can go to the bar with your parents. And people watch together. That is what I call quality family time my friends.

On April 20, my beautiful fake sister Chante gave birth to my handsome fake nephew, Milo. He's the first baby I've ever held. In my life. He is soooooo cute and perfect, I know my lovely FS will be an excellent mommy.

Well, I stole some of the pictures from my Facebook and from my cousin Randi's facebook to complete this post. But I still have a half an hour before InstaCare opens, so I decided to chip away at some of my blogging promises.

First off, I just want to thank everyone who came out and supported/donated/ran/etc the Race for the Cure. The cause is very near and dear to my family, so it's awesome to know that $600,000 was raised to help in the fight against breast cancer.

Secondly, I just want to tell my mom HAPPY MOTHERS DAY! I'm so lucky that you're still around for me to share this holiday with you. I know you hate it, but I don't. Every year it reminds me not to take you for granted and reminds me of just how lucky I am that I get to celebrate this holiday with you! My mom is seriously the cheese to my macaroni. She just rocks and according to her, "she's the reason that I turned out weird because she harped being independent into my head from an early age" so thanks again mom, for making me weird!

I have just been sick. In fact, the only reason I'm blogging is because I have to wait 2 hours for InstaCare to open. Lucky for you guys.. In between my sicknesses, I did do some fun things, which I shall post about. Also- be warned... I just bought a new Mac laptop (the other computer was murdered when kitty pushed it off my bedside table) and I'm still figuring out how to use it..So if my posts turn out funky, that's why- (well that and I'm sick and operating on no sleep because I can't sleep).. Anywhoo I still have a ton of pictures and thingies to update you on. But I have to go backwards because I can't figure out how to get my pictures off my broken laptop, or off my iPhone. So you'll have to wait for pictures of:
