TWILIGHT!

Ok. There are three things I'm sure of.

1. Edward was a vampire
2. I loved the Twilight movie
3. It was sort of cheesy.

I saw the much anticipated (by me) Twilight movie on Sunday and I LOVED IT! I am one of those teeny bopper girls that read the book and shortly thereafter became addicted to it. At first I was hesitant about their choice of characters, but I really loved them all. I can't wait for New Moon to come out!!!!

Secondly. Writing papers on moral philosophy all weekend wasn't so great.

Thirdly, I'm sad my mom will be out of town for Thanksgiving :(

Lastly... I gave my cat a bath. And Jesten shampooed our carpets.

There you have it. Your Anti-Andrea/Jesten/Gollum update.

PS.We (minus Gollum sadly) will be going to New York in December! Yay!

Funny things that make me laugh.

This picture makes me laugh because it is your typical stupid Myspace punk rock looking sad picture.. HAHAHAHAH I love being young and stupid. I'm glad I can laugh at my patheticness now. CLICHE! Don't worry, I want to punch myself too.
This picture makes me laugh because now you know where I get my awesomeness.. Ok, It's not a funny picture but I thought I'd brag about how cool my family is.

Yep, again.. Bragging.
Yeah, I know Barack..... We tight.
I was having way more fun than he was apparently.

This picture is going to make PETA knock on my door... But this cat is basically my idol. Hero status even.
I know, I am a cliche.

This picture makes me laugh because I was trying to be pretty and I ended up looking like I have a uniboob.

Saturday, November 8, 2008

My boyfriend likes to wear my underwear on his head. Thought I'd throw that out there for some comic relief after the last two blogs.

Second rant- FOOTBALL

Can I just say that I hate sports season. There I said it. I hate football. I hate baseball. I hate basketball... I hate it all.  If I hear "Did you watch the game last night" ONE MORE TIME I SWEAR....

I can pretty much tell you what happens at the "big game" because all of you obnoxious people get together with all of your other sport loving people and recite play by play what went on. Apparently I am the ONLY person at my work that hates football. Well, Leslie's husband doesn't like football either...

As someone that really hates watching sports on TV, and only watches the Superbowl because of the commercials, I just want to tell you all that I would rather watch paint dry than watch your favorite college team on TV. SO NO, I DID NOT WATCH THE GAME. NOR WILL I EVER WATCH "THE GAME".

Ok. Now I feel a little better.

So let's see what is going on in my life.. Well.. My cat is sleeping on my lap. Jesten is putting up Christmas lights at his parental unit's house... Did I mention the cat is sleeping on my lap? I am doing my homework (sort of) And I just heard a door slam.

That's really all that's going on in my life at the moment. Sadly. Maybe I should watch "the game"... hahaha

I'm probably going to offend everyone post.

First of all, I just want to say F YEAHHH!!! Go Obama!!!! I'm super stoked that is our new presidential elect. And sorry to offend probably the majority of you. :D I have never been one to sensor myself... So I'm blogging my feelings ya'll! Here comes more word vomit:

FIRST OFF, I believe that Proposition 8 (In California) is HORRID. As a straight, (as in non gay) woman, I am horrified to think that we would deny the right of another American just because of their sexual preface. I think it is an abhorrition of American culture to pass something that denies the fundamental rights of so many people. 100 years ago, the same thing was happening in American culture. Yeah it was called RACISM. We passed laws for equal rights and fought for YEARS to overcome the prejudices that plagued our society. Racism was a stain that has plagued our country for many years and to think that history is repeating itself with such a hate-filled proposition makes me feel the need to vomit. We should have learned from history's mistakes, not repeated them. How would you feel if someone told you that you were not given the same rights as everyone else just because you were "different".. Although you are a tax paying, law abiding, socially obedient citizen? Hardly seems fair. It's tough to stomach that people would not receive equal opportunities in America, a country that prides itself on tolerance would deny fundamental rights of so many of it's citizens?

Remember.. Just because YOU are not a homosexual doesn't mean that YOU have the right to deny someone else as the same rights that YOU have and take for granted. Stop being homophobic and afraid of progressive thought. Again, sorry to offend probably the majority of my fellow bloggians.. But I have the right to freedom of speech and so do you. So you can express YOUR opinions while I express mine.

Sickening. Just sickening.
